BlueTriton Brands’ mission is to sustainably provide fresh water to communities throughout North America. Our name comes from Triton, a guardian of the sea in classical Greek mythology.

What is spring water?

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sets stringent national standards for what qualifies as “spring water” and defines spring water as “water derived from an underground formation from which water flows naturally to the surface of the earth.” We understand our responsibility to manage spring sources and the watersheds that supply them. We know that water is not only the foundation of our company and the basis of our business, but also essential to sustain life.

Our Commitments

At BlueTriton, we demonstrate our corporate responsibility commitments and initiatives within five key pillars which are central to the success of the business, communities, and the planet: the parts all build to a greater whole.

  • Managing our water sources with a focus on long-term sustainability
  • By 2025, BlueTriton’s full enterprise will be independently verified, and 100% of high risk sites certified for water stewardship
  • By 2025, 100% of our products will be in packaging that is reusable or made from an average of 35% recycled materials.
  • Setting a SMART, 2030 goal for reduction of finite material waste generated per serving sold. Promote transition to renewable materials, reusable packaging, and improved recycling systems.
  • By 2030, 100% of purchased electricity will come from renewable sources.
  • Setting a 2030 Science Based Green House Gas emission reduction goal. Work with external experts at the Science Based Target Initiative to define a data-drive green house gas reduction goal.
